“Visitors love HMS Victory and they never tire of her story.(..) It’s a tale of peril and jeopardy to secure the legacy of what is possibly one of the world’s most famous ships, the oldest naval ship still in commission and now the Flagship of the First Sea Lord.”
Andrew Baines Executive Director of Operation for NMRN and lead curator

Client -  The National Museum of the Royal Navy

The Nation’s Flagship gallery explores the HMS Victory's rich history from its role at the Battle of Trafalgar to its journey today. Follow the ship's history from acorn to icon’.

The Gallery design is inspired by the ship and its journey woven through time. The two-story gallery invites the visitor to explore its journey and meet the people who worked on the HMS Victory. And explore the stories behind the artefacts on display. Upstairs in the figurehead gallery, visitors can explore more about the conservation effort to preserve the Nation’s Flagship.

On this project, I worked together with a great team of colleagues creating strong concepts and finalized designs. Haley Sharpe colleagues Martyn Johnson, Chris Smith, Emily Friesen, Kirti Patel & Deevyash Vadher
